Sony has announced two new entry level DSLR cameras the DSLR-A290 and the DSLR-A390. These new additions to Sony’s Alpha series are upgrades to the A230 and A380 and will be available in the next few weeks.
The A290 and A390 are entry level with fairly basic specs but are a great choice for those who want a step up from point and shoot and want improved picture quality and more creative options.
The new DSLR cameras are aimed at the budget end of the market and have the advantage of being easy to use with an in-built user guide. Both cameras come with 14-megapixel CCD sensors, a new grip design and updated button layout plus HDMI output.
