Garmin-Asus have a new GPS smartphone, the G10 which Optus will offer on a $29 month plan from next Monday.
The Garmin-Asus G10 is an Android phone and so has all the features that come with the Android operating system. The interface is very much focused around navigation however. From the home screen you can easily view street maps or navigate from A to B. There are some useful navigation features such as being able to navigate to an address which is stored in an email, text message, website or geo-tagged photo. A fuel search function displays the nearest petrol stations and prices.
Garmin-Asus also have the Nuvifone M10 in their product range which is another GPS centric smartphone. The Garmin-Asus Nuvifone is available unlocked from MobiCity.
