Garmin Nulink 1695

There’s a new addition to the Garmin Nuvi 1600 series but with a change of branding. The latest high-end GPS is the Garmin Nulink 1695.

It’s very similar to the Nuvi 1690 but with a larger, 5” screen and the inclusion of traffic trend features. It also incorporates a data connection with Nulink. The importance of this feature is evident with the name change.

Nulink provides traffic data, weather forecasts, fuel prices, flight statuses and other real time information. There is also a Nulink store where you can purchase premium services.

The Garmin Nulink 1695 is due sometime this month. The Nulink service is free for the first year followed by a small monthly fee.
