TomTom iPhone Application

TomTom have announced an application for the iPhone which looks like being the first, good GPS solution for the iPhone.

It features real time, spoken, turn by turn navigation. This is an improvement on currently available text guided navigation which is available with Google Maps and the iPhone.

The TomTom iPhone app should work with the recently launched iPhone 3G. As yet there is no detailed information on costs or on an Australian launch date.

TomTom will also offer a car kit for the iPhone which comprises a vehicle mount and a car charger.
