TomTom has improved on its GPS range for bikers with the release of the TomTom Urban Rider set to be on sale in Australia later this month.
The Urban Rider GPS is similar to its predecessors but the user interface is glove friendly and much easier to use. It features two large buttons at the start, “Navigate To” and “Browse Maps”. The interface is designed to get bikers where they want to go much more simply and effectively.
Other features include IQ Routes, advanced lane guidance with 3D at difficult intersections and MapShare.
TomTom will also release a RiderPro version with a bluetooth headset for clear, spoken directions. It’s not known when the Pro version will be available.
