It has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. There is a built in accelerometer and speaker. The design is stylish and compact built with a thin metal case that easily fits in your pocket.
The features for music lovers are impressive including Shake to Shuffle and support for Genius Mixes which automatically creates up to 12 mixes of songs from your iTunes library.
Game players are well served with a built-in accelerometer, fantastic graphics and a huge range of games available in the Apple App Store. You can play multi-player games as the new iPod Touch supports peer-to-peer connections.
The iPod Touch is also a pocket computer providing the ability to surf the web, manage email, calendars and contacts, and use social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
The iPod Touch is lacking a camera but given the compact size and value for money, it’s worth this compromise.
Three iPod Touch models are available, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB.
The 8GB model holds up to 1,750 songs, 10,000 photos and 10 hours of video; the 32GB model holds up to 7,000 songs, 40,000 photos or 40 hours of video; and the 64GB model holds up to 14,000 songs, 90,000 photos or 80 hours of video. The 32GB and 64GB models also include superior performance and better graphics with Open GL ES 2.0. You can get 30 hours of music or six hours of video on a single battery charge.
